– Four years (est.) – family of two (carbon)
– Low cost!
How It Works
The Activated Carbon Cartridge is a high porosoty carbon block, designed to remove 2 ppm of Chlorine for up to 150,000 gallons. The cartridge life is estimated at two years for a family of four, and for four years for a family of two. The Cartridge capacity is based on water usage and Chlorine concentrations.
The carbon cartridge removes the following impurties: chlorine, chloramines, taste and odors, sediment, pesticides, VOC’s and other harmful chemicals.
The Pleated Cartridge removes sediment, particulate, rust particles and other solids to improve water clarity. The polyester filter media is pleated to provide greater throughput and longer life. The outside layer of the filter media is rated at 20 micron, and the internal layer is rated to remove particles ten micron or greater.
